We provide design, data expertise, and other innovative tools and methods to help city departments approach problems in new ways, deliver novel solutions, measure and track progress, and be nimble in advancing pressing issues that affect Syracuse residents.

The API team works with departments through these four main focuses to set and achieve specific mayoral objectives through performance management, management and analysis of the City’s data, implementation and maintenance of digital systems for different departments of the City, and serving as an in-house innovation consultant for the City.
In short, we help departments set and achieve their goals while managing the City’s data and digital policies.
